I have read many times on blogs etc that it is suggested to keep a price list book to keep track of the best prices for items you buy regularly. I of course see the benefit to this as it is important information in order to spend wisely and it certainly frees up brain space. Now 'MY' way of doing best price tracking and recording may not work for everyone but here's what I do...
Because I am working towards stream lining shopping as a whole for many reasons one day I was looking at flyers online and duh me I thought - I can pin from flyers!! I quickly created a 'Best Price List' board and started to pin. It is a locked board because I have so many and this one really is a personal one that is useless to others. I spend a lot of time on the computer so this makes sense. My list, at my finger tips!
Now if you want to use a little note book because you carry it with you...just in case. I see how that would be beneficial. But our shopping is very planned and that planning is done at the computer so this works for me. I can update the product info as needed, include multiple stores' pricing etc all on one pin! And everything is a click or two away.
Saves me time, which saves me energy and the tree hugger in me is happy to not have a little book to write in!
