Broccoli & Cheddar Soup


~ January 2015 ~

Here is another amazing soup...and remember that it is your soup so feel free to add, adjust and substitute as you wish!


Broccoli & Cheddar Soup
½ cup                           chopped onion

¼ cup                           margarine
¼ cup                           flour
3 cups                          water
20 oz                            broccoli
4 tsp                             chicken bouillon
1 tsp                             Worcestershire sauce
3 cups                          chopped cheese slices (orange)
2 cups                          milk

Cook onion in margarine until tender, stir in flour. Gradually stir in water then broccoli, bouillon and Worcestershire.                      
Cook and stir until thickened and broccoli is tender.                      
Add cheese and milk.            
Cook and stir until cheese melts and soup is hot.                      
DO NOT BOIL.
***Use double boiler once thickened, and before adding cheese and milk.
Serves 10-12
